UPDATE ON PIRATE ATTACK OFF THE SOMALIAN COAST.

We continue to work towards the safe release of all six men on board the SVITZER KORSAKOV.

Further contact today indicates that the crew are being well treated and they remain unharmed.

All families of the crew continue to receive the company's full support on a daily basis.

A U.S. vessel is in the vicinity of the tug but SVITZER has no influence on its operations.

Again we ask for understanding regarding the withholding of the crew’s names in accordance with the families’ wishes.

We continue to request that the sensitive nature of information surrounding this incident is considered and emphasize that discretion will be of the utmost importance to the safety of the crew, which is our absolute priority.
